If passed, this Bill would have given the Governor the support of the Idaho Legislature to respond in the best interests of the citizens of Idaho regarding any contingency that may occur resulting from this wolf "recovery" process!
The Bill would have given the Governor support to declare a State of Emergency to effectively deal with the Idaho Canadian Gray wolf population as necessary to protect citizens and children, to reduce the growing public safety and health risk associated with wolf borne disease, and to reduce and control unacceptable livestock and ungulate depredation.  It would have given the Governor the legislative support enabling him to take the actions necessary to protect the citizens and property rights of the people of our State.
